The Departed
~Sumary~
A lavish remake of the hit Hong Kong noir "Infernal Affairs" starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon, directed by Martin Scorsese. The film thrillingly depicts the ironic fate that awaits two contrasting characters: a mobster who infiltrates the police and a policeman who infiltrates the mob, with profound and realistic direction. Billy and Colin graduate from the police academy with high honors. Eventually, Billy is assigned to work undercover for the Mafia. Colin, on the other hand, is selected for a special task force to eradicate the mafia, but his true identity is that of a spy raised by the mafia boss...
~Movie Comment~
The gangsters and the police infiltrated each other's ranks, and it was cringe-worthy and exciting. I was never bored until the end. The story was such a roller coaster that I think I didn't even blink from the moment I pressed play until the end roll. The gorgeous cast and the fast-paced storyline made it feel like a Hollywood movie. As expected of an Oscar-winning film. Jack Nicholson's great acting is also worth seeing. There are so many great actors in this movie that I never get tired of watching it.
